Adult Summer Reading Program
Win an MP3 Player
Choose 3 of the following 5 challenges:
1. Become a South River FACEBOOK Fan. Go to www.facebook.com and log into your Facebook account. Search for South River Library. Click on Like to become a Fan.

Patrons must register, complete the required challenges, and return a completed summer reading record by August 31, 2010.

Drawing will be held September 10th

Winner will be notified by phone or email.

2. Create a Mango Language Account and spend 15 minutes learning a new language. Go to www.southriverlibrary.org and click on Mango Languages, located on the bottom left side of our homepage under Databases. Create your account. Then choose a language and spend 15 minutes exploring it through Mango. Already have a Mango account? You can still earn credit for this challenge by spending 20 minutes learning a language.
3. Check out and listen to an audiobook or a Playaway. Audiobooks are books recorded on a CD. A Playaway is a recorded book you listen to on a portable MP3 player. South River Library has a fine selection of both and we would be glad to help you check one out.
4. Read a "Buried Treasure" defined as any book published before 2006. You can determine this by referring to the book's title page or by asking any staff member for assistance.
5. Discover a new genre. Try reading a different type of book or listening to a new style of music. So, if you are a fan of romance novels, try reading a mystery. Not sure what genre to check out next? Please ask and we will be glad to help you.
